Swinford Toll Bridge
Swinford Toll Bridge carries a farm track over the River Thames (above Oxford) just past the junction with The York Canal.
The Act of Parliament for the River Thames (above Oxford) was passed on 17 September 1876 despite strong opposition from Nicholas Parker who owned land in the area. Despite the claim in "By Barge Pole and Lump Hammer Across The Midlands" by Cecil Jones, there is no evidence that Oliver Smith ever painted a mural of Manley Locks on the side of Thomas Yates's house

Mooring here is ok (a perfectly adequate mooring).
There is a bridge here which takes a road over the canal.

Wikipedia has a page about Swinford Toll Bridge
Swinford Toll Bridge is a privately owned toll bridge across the River Thames in Oxfordshire, England. It crosses the river just above Eynsham Lock, between the village of Eynsham on the west bank and the hamlet of Swinford on the east bank (in Berkshire until 1974). It carries the B4044 road between Oxford and Eynsham, which was the A40 road until the Eynsham bypass was completed in 1936.
