[Wellingborough railway station] station is also the closest to the towns of Higham Ferrers, Raunds, Irthlingborough and Rushden, although there is no direct public transport link from [Newport Pagnell] cricketer, was born at Newport Pagnell. William Bull (1738–1814) (born Irthlingborough) was minister to the Independent Church, now United Reformed Church [Wellingborough] Isles. Wellingborough's nearest towns are Rushden, Higham Ferrers and Irthlingborough. Wellingborough's population expanded rapidly from the 1960s and 1970s [Daventry railway station] from wood. It was on a passing loop and had two platforms linked by a footbridge. The main station building was located on the down (westbound) platform [Wellingborough London Road railway station] Billing Castle Ashby & Earls Barton Wellingborough London Road Ditchford Irthlingborough Ringstead & Addington Thrapston Bridge Street Thorpe Barnwell Oundle [Towcester railway station] the down platforms were linked to the up platform by the line's only footbridge. The main station buildings, a two-storey gabled structure built of brick [Northampton St. John's Street railway station] train shed covered the central part of the two platforms. No passenger footbridge was provided, and so passengers crossed the line using a barrow crossing [Desborough railway station] Company had received instructions from the Board of Trade to erect a footbridge over the line. In response to a requisition from the ratepayers of Rothwell [Brackley Central railway station] top of the cutting on the west side in a lay-by off the road, with a footbridge leading across to the platform (Hucknall Central had a similar arrangement [Roade railway station] Northampton Loop Line were rebuilt as a 25 kV. overhead electrified route. The footbridge and platforms were demolished but the ticket office building survived
