[River Don, Yorkshire] Sheffield Railway Station, and the combined flows join the Don between Lady's Bridge and Blonk Street bridge. The section of the river from Lady's Bridge to [River Don Navigation] first bridge and associated toll house were built in 1849 for Sir Joseph William Copley of Sprotbrough Hall. The designers of the southern bridge were [Stamford Bridge (stadium)] stadium. In its early days, Stamford Bridge stadium was served by a small railway station, Chelsea and Fulham railway station, which was later closed after [Don Bridge] contract. The south side of the bridge is in Warmsworth, and the north side is in Sprotbrough and Cusworth. The bridge crosses the Trans Pennine Trail [Vicarage Road] Road, was due to open in 2020 on the opposite side of the Vicarage Road bridge as part of the Croxley Rail Link project to extend the Metropolitan line [Sheffield and South Yorkshire Navigation] Doncaster as early as 1343, when a commission looked at the problems caused by bridges and weirs. It underwent major changes in the 1620s, when Cornelius Vermuyden [List of urban areas in the United Kingdom] associated with such structures; transportation corridors such as roads, railways and canals which have built up land on one or both sides, or which link [Greyhound racing in the United Kingdom] (Lythalls) Cradley Heath Crayford Crayford and Bexleyheath Derby Doncaster (Sprotbrough) Doncaster (Stainforth) Exeter Gateshead Gloucester and Cheltenham Halifax [Barnsley Interchange] Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
