![Auger in action, Emscote Road, Warwick. The work is another stage in the laying of a 33kV electricity cable in a duct through Warwick and Leamington, last photographed 17 months previously in January 2013: [[3302063]]. The auger's task is to drill under the Grand Union Canal where the Emscote Road crosses it at Bridge 46: [[3434520]] and [[3180161]]. The duct will cross the road at the same time. The drilling was completed in a few days.The auger is in the livery of American Augers. It is either owned by or on hire to a branch of Johnston Trenchless Solutions, of Shawell, Leicestershire.
