Grosvenor Bridge
Grosvenor Bridge carries the M56 motorway over the River Thames (tidal section).
Early plans of what would become the River Thames (tidal section) were drawn up by William Jessop in 1876 but problems with Canterbury Locks caused delays and it was finally opened on January 1 1888. According to Barry Hunter's "Spooky Things on the Canals" booklet, Leicester Embankment is haunted by the ghost of Arthur Yates, a lock-keeper, who drowned in the canal one winter night.

There is a bridge here which takes a railway over the canal.

Wikipedia has a page about Grosvenor Bridge
Grosvenor Bridge, originally known as, and alternatively called Victoria Railway Bridge, is a railway bridge over the River Thames in London, between Vauxhall Bridge and Chelsea Bridge. Originally constructed in 1860, and widened in 1865 and 1907, the bridge was extensively rebuilt and widened again in the 1960s as an array of ten parallel bridges.
