These moorings are on the edge of Denham Country Park. There is a circular walking route that includes part of the towpath and takes in a children's playground for children up to 12, near the visitor centre.
Currently (spring 2021) there is work going on a short distance away for HS2 which we could hear while walking the towpath, although this is presumably only during daytime and was far enough away not to be overpowering.
