[Dingman's Ferry Bridge] in 1875 to John W. Kilsby, Sr. Kilsby's family operated the ferry until the turn of the twentieth century when the current bridge was constructed using [A361 road] junction with the A5 road at the village of Kilsby on the Northamptonshire-Warwickshire border near Rugby. Despite its length, most of the road is non-primary [A5 road (Great Britain)] through the Watford Gap. It then bridges the M45 motorway and continues to Kilsby. As it passes close to Rugby, the road is diverted slightly around the [A roads in Zone 3 of the Great Britain numbering scheme] List of A roads in zone 3 in Great Britain starting west of the A3 and south of the A4 (roads beginning with 3). Notes northeast of Camelford west of [Kilsby and Crick railway station] Kilsby and Crick was a railway station on the Northampton Loop Line serving the villages of Kilsby and Crick in Northamptonshire. It was located to the [Grand Union Canal (old)] new canal to be built with only narrow locks, but with broad tunnels and bridges to allow passing of boats. With the Leicestershire and Northamptonshire [Watford Gap] side of Watling Street, and then into Kilsby. The route from Watford Gap to Kilsby is now part of the diverted A5 road following construction of the M1 motorway [B roads in Zone 4 of the Great Britain numbering scheme] B roads are numbered routes in Great Britain of lesser importance than A roads.
