The Valley (formerly Evesham Country Park), is a large retail and leisure park located out of town with a diversity [Evesham Township, New Jersey] Philadelphia-Reading-Camden combined statistical area and the Delaware Valley. The area now known as Evesham Township was originally settled by Quakers in 1672. The [River Avon, Warwickshire] Ferry in Evesham and the Stratford-upon-Avon Ferry in Stratford-upon-Avon. Traffic is now exclusively leisure-oriented. Overnight moorings are available [River Avon, Bristol] riverside in the early 18th century. Kelston Lock and weir have permanent moorings above and below them. The Riverside Inn and Saltford Marina are also close [Little Avon River] enters the River Severn via Berkeley Pill. It was formerly navigable up to moorings at Berkeley, but a flood-prevention scheme, built in the 1960s, now prevents [Severn Bridge Railway] Tweedledum and Tweedledee.
