[Capital Crescent Trail] formal work began, volunteers built a wooden deck over the Arizona Avenue Railroad Bridge. The groundbreaking for the trail was held on September 30, [The Palisades (Washington, D.C.)] Potomac Heights, which is bounded by Loughboro Road at the north end, Arizona Avenue at the south end and MacArthur Boulevard and the Potomac River.
