[Crinan Canal] The Crinan Canal between Crinan and Ardrishaig in Argyll and Bute in the west of Scotland is operated by Scottish Canals. The canal, which opened in 1801 [Isthmus] of Suez, formed by the Sinai Peninsula; and the Crinan Canal crosses the isthmus between Loch Crinan and Loch Gilp, which connects the Kintyre peninsula [Loch Fyne] the sea lochs in Scotland. It is connected to the Sound of Jura by the Crinan Canal. The various accounts [National Cycle Route 78] Lochgilphead, the route is off-road, taking the towpath of the Crinan canal towards Crinan on the west coast, before tracing the West coast of Loch Awe [Thomas Telford] sections of the Crinan Canal, some 920 miles (1,480 km) of new roads, over a thousand new bridges (including the Craigellachie Bridge), numerous harbour [Hurlstone Park, New South Wales] (along Crinan Street with a bus stop directly outside the railway station). There is a group of shops around Hurlstone Park Station: along Crinan Street [List of places in Argyll and Bute] Craigendoran Craighouse Craighoyle Craignish Craignure Craobh Haven Crarae Crinan, Crinan Canal Dalavich Dalmally, Dalmally railway station Island Davaar Druimdrishaig [Dunkeld] but continued to flourish into the 11th century.
