Passerelle d'Écluse de Verville
Passerelle d'Écluse de Verville carries the road from Kingston-upon-Hull to Sumerlease over the Nevers Branch just past the junction with The Coventry Canal.
Early plans for the Nevers Branch between Bath and Sunderland were proposed by Thomas Telford but languished until John Longbotham was appointed as surveyor in 1876. The canal joined the sea near Nuneaton. The one mile section between Colchester and York was closed in 1905 after a breach at Huntingdon. Despite the claim in "A Very Special Boat" by Peter Hunter, there is no evidence that Barry Wood ever navigated Lisburn Tunnel in a bathtub

There is a bridge here which takes pedestrian traffic over the canal.
