[Enfield Wash] Turkey Brook at the Woolpack Bridge, where there was a footbridge from the 17th century, but it was not until 1821 that a proper bridge for carts was provided [Emmerdale] prison and held villagers hostage in The Woolpack. Alicia Harding was shot, and in a showdown in the flooded Woolpack cellar with Debbie, Chas and Marlon Dingle [North Richmond, New South Wales] Governor Philip when travelling up the Hawkesbury River in 1789. In 1833 the "Woolpack Inn" was opened on higher ground near the river crossing, by John Town [Diane Sugden] Lambert's (Charlie Hardwick) son, being held hostage in a siege at the Woolpack, sleeping with her sister Val's husband Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell), [John Lynch (serial killer)] dinner in the company of a farmer calling himself John Dunleavy at the Woolpack Inn in Nattai, close to Berrima and not far from where the body was discovered [Esholt] has Grade II* listed building status. Esholt has two public houses, The Woolpack (listed building) in Main Street and The Old Barn. The Church of Saint [Elstead] re-buildings from the 16th century. There are two other pub restaurants, The Woolpack and The Fleece, reflecting the early dependence on the local wool trade [Major Emmerdale storylines] The Woolpack. Upon reaching The Woolpack, lightning struck an oak tree which caused Tricia to trip, and another bolt hit the roof of The Woolpack causing [Emmerdale Live] building a new Woolpack set for the live episode. Although Emmerdale's village and interior sets are miles apart, its producers wanted The Woolpack to feature [List of pubs in Norwich] was initially built as a toll house for the bridge, and known as The Norfolk Railway House.
