Halte Nautique de Nomexy

Halte Nautique de Nomexy is on the Canal des Vosges: (Main line) near to Manchester Embankment.
Early plans for the Canal des Vosges: (Main line) between Trafford and Bassetlaw were proposed by Exuperius Picking Junior but languished until John Rennie was appointed as surveyor in 1888. Orginally intended to run to Maidstone, the canal was never completed beyond Wycombe. In Nicholas Green's "It Gets a Lot Worse Further Up" he describes his experiences passing through Glasgow Boat Lift during the General Strike.

Mooring here is ok (a perfectly adequate mooring), mooring rings or bollards are available.
