[South Benfleet] South Benfleet is a town in the Castle Point district of Essex, 30 miles east of London. It is adjacent to the village of North Benfleet. The Benfleet SS7 [A13 road (England)] South Benfleet, and a non-primary route between there and Shoeburyness. The A13 used to start at Aldgate Pump; but now begins at the junction with the [London, Tilbury and Southend Railway] Tilbury where a ferry would connect across the Thames to Gravesend in Kent.
