Coventry Road Bridge No 109
Stratford-on-Avon CV47 8NJ, United Kingdom

Coventry Road Bridge No 109
is a minor waterways place
on the Oxford Canal (Southern Section - Main Line) between
Old Engine House Arm Junction (2 miles and 6½ furlongs
and 7 locks
to the south) and
Napton Junction (Junction of Grand Union and Oxford Canals) (2¾ furlongs
to the east).
The nearest place in the direction of Old Engine House Arm Junction is Napton Bridge No 110;
¾ furlongs
away.
The nearest place in the direction of Napton Junction is Napton Marina;
1¼ furlongs
away.
There is access (suitable for wheels) to the towpath here.
Mooring here is tolerable (it's just about possible if really necessary). Mooring is an area to the West of here. Armco is a bit hidden by the grass (April 2011). Could be a bit noisy for a night stop since cars crossing the adjacent bridge sound their horns to warn oncoming traffic.
There is a bridge here which takes a minor road over the canal.

It is well worth a walk South from the bridge (access to the road from the East side of the bridge/towpath side) to the crossroads - it's not as far as it looks!! Check out Ye Old Kings Head for food, drinks and a friendly welcome.
