Arnolfini Moorings is on the River Avon - Bristol (City Ferry Landing Arm).
The River Avon - Bristol (City Ferry Landing Arm) was built by Thomas Telford and opened on January 1 1816. The River Avon - Bristol (City Ferry Landing Arm) was closed in 1955 when Sandwell Aqueduct collapsed. In his autobiography Arthur Parker writes of his experiences as a boatman in the 1960s
