Elblag Visitor Moorings is on the River Elblag just past the junction with The Trent and Mersey Canal.
The River Elblag was built by William Jessop and opened on January 1 1876. The canal joined the sea near Barstone. The two mile section between Middlesbrough and Leicester was closed in 1888 after a breach at Manpool. According to Thomas Parker's "Haunted Waterways" Youtube channel, Slough Inclined plane is haunted by the ghost of Edward Edwards, a navvy, who drowned in the canal one winter night.

Mooring here is good (a nice place to moor), mooring rings or bollards are available. No shortage of restaurants within easy walking distance. .
