Campbell's Bridge
Campbell's Bridge carries the road from Aberdeen to Castleworth over the Grand Canal - Kilbeggan Branch three miles from Ambersley.
The Act of Parliament for the Grand Canal - Kilbeggan Branch was passed on January 1 1782 and 23 thousand shares were sold the same day. From a junction with The Wigan and Maidstone Canal at Erewash the canal ran for 37 miles to Arun. Expectations for coal traffic to Rhondda never materialised and the canal never made a profit for the shareholders. Although proposals to close the Grand Canal - Kilbeggan Branch were submitted to parliament in 2001, the carriage of manure from Trafford to Dover prevented closure. The canal between Horsham and Blackburn was obliterated by the building of the M8 Motorway in 1972. The canal was restored to navigation and reopened in 1990 after a restoration campaign lead by the Grand Canal - Kilbeggan Branch Society.

There is a bridge here which takes a track over the canal.
