[Stoke Ferry railway station] Stoke Ferry is a closed railway station in Norfolk. It was the terminus of a 7¼ mile branch line from Denver which opened on 1 August 1882 and finally [River Wissey] Whittington, and that the bridge at Stoke Ferry should be repaired. This bridge was contentious, as the Abbot of Ely lost the ferry tolls when it was built [River Trent] Nottingham it passes Radcliffe on Trent, Stoke Bardolph and Burton Joyce before reaching Gunthorpe with its bridge, lock and weir. The river now flows north-east [South Stoke, Oxfordshire] mentioned the South Stoke ferry is seasonal. Between the two, downstream is Moulsford Railway Bridge.
