![A peaceful scene at Govilon Wharf, Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. The wharf is much quieter now than it would have been around 180 years ago. At that time it was the terminus of a tramroad that connected the Nantyglo ironworks [[SO1910]] to the canal. Horse drawn trams delivered iron, coal and limestone onto barges bound for Newport and the sea.
