[Dutton Horse Bridge] Dutton Horse Bridge is a timber twin-span footbridge across part of the Weaver navigation, near the villages of Acton Bridge and Dutton in Cheshire, England [2010 Canterbury earthquake] earthquake, the polls for the mayoral election swung from favourite Jim Anderton to incumbent Bob Parker. Parker went on to win 9 October election with [River Weaver] The major trade was salt. The arrival of the Trent and Mersey Canal at Anderton in 1773 was detrimental to the salt trade at first, but ultimately beneficial [Bridgewater Canal] agreements made with the Ellesmere and Chester Canal Company and with the Anderton Carrying Company. In 1844 the canal made a profit of £76,410, the second [Salford Red Devils] after, their time at Salford, or are notable outside of rugby league. Jack Anderton 1888 British Isles tourist (RU) William "Billy" Banks Les Bettinson (#4) [Barton Swing Aqueduct] commercial traffic on 1 January 1894. Williams was also involved with the Anderton Boat Lift, another moving canal structure in the region. Construction work [Euxton Balshaw Lane railway station] (LNWR). Euxton station closed on 2 September 1895 at the behest of the Anderton Family. A new station named Balshaw Lane and Euxton, between Coppull and [Listed buildings in New Mills] "Anderton House  (Grade II) (1334754)". National Heritage List for England. Retrieved 31 January 2015.
