![Tamhorn Farm Bridge (detail) near Hademore, Staffordshire. Looking north-west towards Whittington. It is a pity that during the later 20th century the BWB (in their wisdom) decided to cover many early brick bridges with a white (protective?) thick paint. The bridges may have looked smart (though untraditional) at the time but over many years that surface has deteriorated into a patchy discoloured grubby unattractive mess.Tamhorn Farm Bridge crosses the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal by Tamhorn Cottages about a mile and a half south-east of Whittington. It is an accommodation bridge with no public right of way across it. The road off to the right is also private.[[[7017112]]] by Roger D Kidd – 31 August 2012](https://s2.geograph.org.uk/geophotos/07/01/71/7017142_cbdcb63c_120x120.jpg)
