Gas Street Basin, 1976

This is just above Worcester Bar, looking towards Gas St. The buildings are all still there, but the whitewash has been removed from the three storey building to the right, which is now the Tap and Spile pub and also from the old bridge over the arm to the south-west. There's no longer a diesel pump by the end of the Bar Lock footbridge.

Photograph taken by Matilda on 27 June 1976 and was added to the database on Tuesday the 28th of January, 2025
