Salterhebble Sanitary Station and winding point. Located between the top and the middle locks it is easy to moor up. All facilities were available and it was all nice and clean. There is also a nice sitting area if the weather allows. The ideal place to fill up with water whilst the lock is filling. Again to continue You will need a Handspike
Some Handspike paddles have been replaced but there are still some locks that cannot be operated without a hand-spike. You can buy a Hand-spike at boatyards in the area or you can make your own from a piece of 4" x 2" or 3" x 2" hardwood about 3' long.
Huami is only 44' long but all the locks seem to only allow 57'6". One guy managed to get a 59' boat in diagonally but you have to be very careful of the sill.
