Sinderland Brook Aqueduct - Bridgewater Canal

I had to wade through the brook in my wellies to get to here as it is all overgrown which is a shame. I used to play here as a kid, there were benches around to rest on and stepping stones which are long gone. I used to want to crawl through the tunnel to the other side but was never brave enough! Although I'm sure you couldn't see all the way through, the top of the tunnel touched the water, so it must have been cleaned out in the last decade. The tunnel goes to the side between the railway and canal. There is then another tunnel beyond which goes under the railway (or Metrolink as it is now).
