Looking downriver

Gates and navigation channel are (were) to the right of the island in this image, under the dark-coloured footbridge: weir stream is (was) to the left. After opening of the Leeds Flood Alleviation scheme in 2017, the navigation channel became to the left and the channel under the footbridge was blocked by a new low-level bridge. To the far right following the line of the railings is a basin.
