Looking towards Stourport

In the background can be seen a large traffic junction on the Kidderminster ring road. Behind that can be seen the chimney of the former Brintons Carpet Factory, along with one or two buildings that survive from that factory, the site of which is today a retail park. For those after supplies, Sainsbury's has its own dedicated moorings 100 yards away towards Wolverley, and there is a Tesco less than half a mile below the lock, along with many other shops within a five minute walk of the canal in Kidderminster Town Centre.
