The bridge over the Willeymoor Lock was commissioned and paid for by the original lady owner (44 years ago, and still in residence) when she bought a small cottage near the lock. The building is still owned by her family but now much enlarged and run as a very successful bar and restaurant. Moor up before or after the lock landing as the bar is well worth a visit and also has some beautiful garden seating outside for the "gongoozelers". The food was not expensive and very good.
