Portishead Harbour Entrance where the sound of the lock operation was terrifying

Gloucester to Sharpness to Portishead across the Bristol Channel. Taped all the air vents ready for the 50-foot waves and whirlpools and a huge powerwash in the lock. The sound of the lock operation was terrifying. Then when I left, crabbing it sideways under the Severn Bridge, only to be faced with a huge car transporter.
