An impressive Woodlesford Lock

Managed to find an amazing mooring (used chains) just before Swillington Bridge before passing through the Woodlesford Lock. It is immaculately kept and has even won an award for the best bloom displays. There is a water point just before and after entering the lock and a rubbish disposal a few meters walk away. As is with all these large locks it is important to secure your boat before giving the ok, and blast your horn if things start going wrong, whereby the operator should stop the operation immediately.
