Surely one of the most isolated moorings anywhere on the waterways, it's about a mile's walk into Holme village from the end of the dyke. As you creep along, with the vegetation on both sides rubbing against the boat, you wonder if you'll ever get out again. But at the end of the Dyke it widens and there's plenty of space to turn, and even a bit to moor.
