This ex-railway bridge, part of the old Great Central route from the long-demolished Nottingham Victoria railway station, now has a revival, carrying modern trams recently introduced to Nottingham.

To the right, the railway used to continue straight across the top of the current Nottingham (Midland) railway station, but now stops short at a high-level terminus station for trams.
