Curious plate, which seems to have space for two letters at the start, but even a close-up shows no trace

Both plates are the same. I've tried internet searches to trace any different name, without success. Maybe all the plates are manufactured the same size with "bridge" at the end and the first word centralised afterwards. Look at "Top Bridge No 32"
