A close-up of the bridge.

The bridge carries the Thames Path from the south side of the river (upstream from here) to the north side where it continues down to Buscott Lock and beyond.

The bridge was brought to its location here by Chinook helicopter, presumably to avoid the cost of building a road to get heavy vehicles in.
