Looking back as we head up the Loire with the river heading down camera left and the canal branching off up to the right.

An unusual opportunity for pleasure craft to navigate the Loire river. The branch to the Lateral a la Loire canal is ahead of us, off to the right. This is the more common method of travelling through the Loire valley by boat.
