Entrance to the lock cut to the left.

The weir exit stream leads up to The Trout Inn (well worth a visit) but moorings there would be difficult for boats longer than about 30' (10m) if available at all. Mooring above the lock is the better option with a short walk past the lock and over St. John's Bridge.
