The Channel devides at Folly Bridge around a small island. The direction arrows show passage is possible both sides. Stay left to go past the 'Head of the River' pub (and navigate around other boats coming up and punts going everywhere) - or stay right and squeeze through a 8' bridge the otherside - but do it slowly to avoid the Salters cruise boats moored across the exit.
