Islip Footbridge 'unplugged'

A welcome sight for boaters on the river - the removal of one of the lowest bridges on the navigation. This was the unusual view for about six weeks in the summer of 2017 after the old bridge (normal headway 2.2m) was removed and before the new one (headway 3.0m) was installed.
