[Savernake Forest] Savernake Forest stands on a Cretaceous chalk plateau between Marlborough and Great Bedwyn in Wiltshire, England. Its area is approximately 4,500 acres [Bruce Tunnel] the Savernake Forest which is open to the public with footpaths, drives and picnic sites, hence the tunnel is also sometimes known as the Savernake Tunnel [Midland and South Western Junction Railway] boxes: Marlborough Tunnel North and Marlborough Tunnel South, with a single line operating through the tunnel and the split for Savernake stations taking [Savernake Low Level railway station] Savernake Low Level railway station was a station on the Berks and Hants Extension Railway, near the village of Burbage in Wiltshire, England. Races C and D include Savernake Tunnel, where overtaking is prohibited due to safety reasons.
