River Douglas

The River Douglas is a tidal river and is part of the Waterways of Mainland Britain.
It runs for 4 miles from Astland Lamp (where it joins the River Ribble (Main River)) to Tarleton Junction (where it joins the Leeds and Liverpool Canal (Rufford Branch)).
The maximum dimensions for a boat to be able to travel on the waterway are 72 feet long and 14 feet wide. The maximum headroom is not known. The maximum draught is not known.
