Mooring here is good (a nice place to moor), mooring rings or bollards are available. Overnight mooring for visitors is welcomed and costs £12 a night (21/04/2023) for visitors, excluding electricity. Tel. 01604 604344.
Facilities: chemical toilet disposal, boater-operated pump-out, rubbish disposal, showers, toilets, water point, glass recycling, paper recycling, tin can recycling and laundrette.

Constructed as part of the regeneration of Northampton Waterfront, the marina has berths for 80 boats on a leisure, part residential and full residential basis.
The marina will supply EA visitor's licences and navigation keys on request for boaters coming down from the Grand Union, Northampton Arm. There is no need to get the licence in advance.
The marina is close to the centre of Northampton, with a large supermarket a five minute walk away, and the town centre facilties including bus station within 10 minutes walk. The rail station is about 15 minutes walk away.

Note that the pump-out and free water points replaced the EA pump-out and water point formerly just below lock 1 on the Nene.
