Also known as: Tower Works
Verona Tower, Aire Valley Towpath, Leeds LS1 4GJ, United Kingdom

Information about the place
Leeds Visitor Moorings is a minor waterways place on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal (Main Line - Wigan to Leeds) between Armley Mills Bridge No 225 (1 mile and ½ furlongs and 4 locks to the west) and Leeds Bridge (Junction of River Aire and Leeds and Liverpool Canal) (2¾ furlongs and 2 locks to the east).

The nearest place in the direction of Armley Mills Bridge No 225 is Railway Bridge No 225H; ¼ furlongs away.

The nearest place in the direction of Leeds Bridge is Office Lock No 2; ¼ furlongs away.

Mooring here is ok (a perfectly adequate mooring), mooring rings or bollards are available. Not sure this could be called a true visitor mooring any more. The moorings on the south side of the canal are gone because of new development work. There are a couple of spots still on the North side with bollards. Water point is on the South side above the lock in a C&RT key locked cabinet.

Facilities: water point.
