Hi, I wonder if anyone has had a look at the Gazetteer for the Grand Western Canal near the Tiverton end.
I walked this last weekend and found places were in a different order to what I found on this my first visit.
I've started to use 'Move Place' to re-arrange the order of these but it seems my 1st place of change, Warnicombe bridge, has now disappeared from the Gazetteer.

I think the correct order of places is shown on this link;

I suspect this is the problem

so I suspect the DB has got itself a little confused - it thinks it's there because it doesn't produce a page not found but instead produces an error saying the html page doesn't exist.

[after=532]
It's also throwing error emails.

When you went to move it how did you do it?

The links are certainly a bit mixed up in the database, so if you could describe exactly what you did we could prevent it happening again.   Meanwhile, I'll try to stitch things back together...

And nick has fixed the issue that the bridge had vanished

Here's the steps I took;
1. Clicked on link for Warnicombe Bridge in the Gazetteer for Grand Western canal
2. Selected Move Place from Edit Information
3. Found 2 places offered - selected !8hqb as other place was in wrong direction
4. Clicked Confirm
5. Found Warnicombe Bridge had disappeared from the Gazetteer

Thanks for restoring Warnicombe Bridge to the Gazetteer. I've retried the steps above and found !8hqb is again offered as the place to move in the correct direction so I went no further.
I also found similar to step 3 on an attempt to move Manley Bridge (just tried) https://canalplan.uk/place/c7j3

Before that I attempted the opposite move for East Manley Bridge and now this place reads;
Sorry, that page is not available
../../generated/place/2/2ct0.html

when link to place is clicked.

Sorry, I seemed to have given nick more work :(

Stephen Atty

That would be the one that nick fixed this morning.

Thanks.
I can confirm East Manley Bridge is now visible again.

I will give more time for any further database stitching before I retry to move this place as \"!8hks\" & \"!8hex\" are the only places showing after I've selected Move Place
