New waterway editing

I noted Nick's comment on waterways with lots of markers but no intermediate places. One of the problems with intermediate places is they don't always have names. Is it possible to adapt the multiple marker placings to canal/river structures by entering a canal code so that the subsequent places will be named in numerical order, similar to Canal de Garonne, CDG Bridge 37? They can be edited later.

Not sure - things have been pretty hectic round here so I suspect Canalplan isn't Nick's highest priority at the moment.
