Summary0000564: Bug Tracker login not working when you use the old style login method
DescriptionLogin seems to get stuck in a loop when you login on the home page with the old style login and then attempt to go to the bug track.

It might be work's config so I'll check when I get home.

Nope does it from home too - I wonder if the old login isn't calling the forum/tracker login process correctly.

Can you talk me through the work flow that causes this? I've tried opening the home page in an incognito window, logging in with account and password, then selecting "changes bugs and ideas" and the bug tracker from there, and I get to the bug tracker fine (in fact that's how I got here!).

It gets stuck in the bounce loop using

https://canalplan.org.uk/?dologon=bugtrack

 as the url.

I wonder if somehow my old account has got lost in the bugtrack and forums DB.

edited to add : it would help if the user table had an ID on it

OK my user doesn't exist for some reason - what URL are you calling to do the logons for the forum and tracker as that should create the user if it doesn't exist.

It's to do with the the cascading accounts - it cascades up and then explodes due to a cookie_string conflict.

I had to create a new account - we really need to look at the user table and work out if we can tidy it up

problem with cascading accounts and using more than one of my multiple linked accounts to login.
