Summary0000503: Map mixed up round Gailey Top
DescriptionWe have a doubleback on the line at the top of Gailey locks.

I've swapped the two moorings round but it doesn't seem to have fixed it.

I'm sure that marker places are on this canal but the route is all straight lines.

Reading the db directly, the links go Wharf -> 48 hour -> 5 day moorings.

Neither the linear map or map were showing that.

I force refreshed the page and the linear map is now right.

So we have a bug that the linear map cache wasn't flushed.

A manual recreation of the tiles didn't fix it, so there is something not working in automatic map updates.

There are errors in the background process log about updating the geojson files for that part of the canal.

Summary - the data is now right, the map is not reflecting this. Leave it alone as a test case.

I've spent ages unable to fix it on development, when suddenly it righted itself. I then went to live and it was fine too.

Has it fixed itself for you as well, or is there something utterly horrible with caching taking place somewhere.

I've not touched it since I raised the ticket

Yes, but what does it look like now - particularly if you do a hard refresh of the page?

It looks fine

I'm closing it. I did some changes to ensure the map updates took, but remain confused as to why they didn't appear to fix it instantly.

Closing automatically, stayed too long in feedback state. Feel free to re-open with additional information if you think the issue is not resolved.
