Winding Hole below Kintbury Lock is a minor waterways place on the Kennet and Avon Canal (Main Line) between Northcroft Lane Arm (Junction of Kennet and Avon Canal with River Kennet. LHS is a short arm) (5 miles and 7¼ furlongs and 7 locks to the east) and Kintbury Bridge No 75 (Dundas Arms and Railway Station) (¾ furlongs to the west).
 
 
The nearest place in the direction of Northcroft Lane Arm is Newmans Bridge No 74 (Bridge is over the weir entrance not the canal); ¾ furlongs away.
