Twyford Wharf

Canal Boats should be aware that there is structural damage to Bridge No 177, a single track humped back bridge listed with Historic England, at Twyford Wharf. It's alleged a combine harvester attempted to cross this bridge on Friday 28 August 2015 and damaged one of the sides. The Police attended the incident. The damage has been reported to the owners of the bridge, Oxfordshire County Council and scaffolding may be erected on the outside of the bridge while repairs take place.

I would attach photographs, but can't see an attach button.

There appears to be a slipway behind the moored boat, but presumably not for public use.
