{Ignore the 'Mooring here' comment above - I get it wrong every time!! It's just a stop on a straight with a good towpath and NOT impossible} Nice little stopping area to the West of 109. Armco is a bit hidden by the grass (April 2011). Could be a bit noisy for a night stop since cars crossing the adjacent bridge sound their horns to warn oncoming traffic. But is is well worth a walk South from the bridge (access to the road from the East side of the bridge/towpath side) to the crossroads - it's not as far as it looks!! Check out Ye Old Kings Head for food, drinks and a friendly welcome.
