It is a very windy place, but trees have been planted on the perimiter so the situation should improve in time. It can be very difficult reversing between the fuel peers and onto berths in cross winds.

The place seems to be run for the convenience of the staff rather than the customers, eg last fuel and pumpout is 14.30 on Sundays,and if you want a gas bottle you have to lift it in yourself. There is, however, a spotless new shower block.

Nearest pub is in Kings Bromley, a very long walk down a busy road without a pavement, or a couple of miles away towards Armitage.
